On December 3-5, AIDFI hosted another batch of water associations from the Visayas region. Like the previous batches, the 3-day workshops focused on cultivating communities by fostering community-driven water systems and enhancing sustainable practices for long-term impact on their respective communities.

The participants gained insights through effect water management through sharing experiences and best practices. Training and best practices on technical skills, capacity building on conflict resolution and engagement, and workshops focusing on monitoring and evaluation techniques.

The workshops also fostered connection among different water associations and established a platform for sharing experiences and resources which creates a support network for continued collaboration beyond the workshop.

The participants developed their action plans and commitment to sustainability on the last day and highlighted personal growth and knowledge gained from the workshop that would encourage local leadership in water governance and management.

The Agos Water Associations Summit is funded by the Coca-Cola Foundation Philippines, Inc. (CCFPI) and will gather 90 water associations from the Visayas region until May 2025.
